In September a team from PPG and a few friends took part in the Ipswich Half Marathon raising an impressive £2,090 to go towards George’s new wheelchair.
George is a delightful, bright, happy 7 year-old-boy who attends his local primary school. He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, a muscle wasting condition for which at the moment there is no treatment or cure.
George has never been able to walk and has been dependent on a power wheelchair since he was in nursery.
The Paravan Piccolino Wheelchair offers all essential functions; good supporting seating, recline and tilt in space. It has many other specialist features including a seat riser, which allows the seat to rise up to bring the user up to adult eye level; this is especially useful in lessons and the playground for social development and independence.
We are pleased to announce that George has now received his new wheelchair. A massive thank you to all of those who took part and to everybody who sponsored
A massive thank you to everyone involved in this years cycle challenge and to those who donated. Together we managed to raise a fantastic £2,388 for AJ’s Legacy which could make a big difference to a young persons life.
2 routes starting and finishing at the Gladstone Arms, a refreshment stop at the Beyton Bear (with Cake) and close to 40 riders it was a fantastic day had by all
Thanks again for all your support and enthusiasm for the event; we couldn’t have done it without you
A Massive thank you once again to Kat Terry for organising a fantastic evening raising money for Tianna through AJ’s Legacy. We are very proud to announce the total amount raised at this year’s PPG Summer Ball is a huge £7,413. A massive thank you must also go to everyone who attended and those that couldn’t attend but bought raffle tickets. It’s a truly astonishing amount of money raised and without your support this would not be possible. The money raised will help to make Tianna and her family’s life that little bit easier. THANK YOU
Another fantastic, entertaining day at Stowmarket Football Club for Music on the Pitch. We were there with PPG Colourful Communities and our infamous smoothie bikes. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as good as it has been but we still managed to raise £66 for AJ’s Legacy
Many Thanks to PPG, Stowmarket Town FC and everybody who braved the elements to have a go on one of our Smoothie Bikes
