Well what an amazing time we have had at AJ’s golf day.  So many thanks to Seckford Golf Club, as usual               everything was fantastic from Simon Jay and the pro shop to the bar and kitchen staff food was wonderful and the course was perfect.  Olga and Gem for helping with raffle prizes, Annie for her magnificent ticket selling, David for photography and keeping the boxes topped up.  To everyone who donated prizes and to all you wonderful golfers who took part. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did your support is amazing.  See you next year, Friday May 26th xx  Much Love Jayne

In September a team from PPG and a few friends took part in the Ipswich Half Marathon raising an impressive £2,090 to go towards George’s new wheelchair.

George is a delightful, bright, happy 7 year-old-boy who attends his local primary school. He has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, a muscle wasting condition for which at the moment there is no treatment or cure.  

George has never been able to walk and has been dependent on a power wheelchair since he was in nursery.

The Paravan Piccolino Wheelchair offers all essential functions; good supporting seating, recline and tilt in space. It has many other specialist features including a seat riser, which allows the seat to rise up to bring the user up to adult eye level; this is especially useful in lessons and the playground for social development and independence. 

We are pleased to announce that George has now received his new wheelchair.  A massive thank you to all of those who took part and to everybody who sponsored

AJ’s Cycle Challenge 2019

A massive thank you to everyone involved in this years cycle challenge and to those who donated. Together we managed to raise a fantastic £2,388 for AJ’s Legacy which could make a big difference to a young persons life.

2 routes starting and finishing at the Gladstone Arms, a refreshment stop at the Beyton Bear (with Cake) and close to 40 riders it was a fantastic day had by all
